Dr. Francisco Maiato Pedro Gonçalves

Francisco Maiato Pedro Gonçalves, is an Angolan biologist with a Doctoral degree in Biology, from the University of Hamburg in Germany. Francisco has experience in tropical ecosystems, with an emphasis on miombo woodlands. His current work pays special attention to vegetation dynamics post-disturbance. He is associated with the Herbarium of Lubango at ISCED-Huíla, dividing his activities into teaching, coordination of scientific projects, and a master’s course in Ecology and Management of Natural Resources.
